3 Cleaning Hacks You Need to Know About

You probably love a clean home but hate spending hours cleaning, right? That’s where handy cleaning hacks come in. They’ll help you clean your home quickly and easily, so you can get back to what matters.

1. How to Steam Clean Your Oven

If you follow us on Instagram you might have already seen this hack

Sometimes the best way to clean hard-to-clean dishes or surfaces is to first soak them because it softens the grime and makes it easier to remove. The same is true with your oven!

Preheat your oven to 450 degrees and fill ¾ of a casserole dish with water and 1 cup of white vinegar. Pop the dish in the oven and then wait 20 minutes to an hour before carefully removing it.

Once the oven has cooled, use our Dish Soap and scrub brush to clean your oven’s grime.

Do this at least every three months to maintain a clean and safe oven.

2. How to Use a Swedish Sponge Cloth

You’ll love Swedish Sponge Cloths because they can replace up to 17 rolls of paper towels, reducing the plastic packaging and overall waste in landfills.

These eco-friendly, streak-free sponge cloths will clean all kitchen and bath surfaces. The cellulose and cotton composition is 100% biodegradable and can be tossed into the compost bin instead of the trash.

One of our favourite benefits is it's naturally anti-bacterial due to its quick-drying ability, so there's no 'dish cloth' smell!

Simply wet the sponge, wring out the excess water, and use it as a cloth. Hang it to dry, it’ll stiffen up again which is how you know it’s completely dry.

3. How to Clean Your Blender

Vinegar is a pretty common cleaning ingredient, especially in DIY recipes, but have you used it on your blend?

Rinse and remove any excess food. Add 1 pump Dish Soap and fill with warm water to soak for at least thirty minutes. Without emptying the blender, add the lid on top and blend for thirty seconds on high. Rinse and air dry.

For cloudy stains, add 1 cup of white vinegar to the blender and fill halfway with water. Leave overnight to soak. The next morning, rinse well with Dish Soap and air dry.
