Lovely scent, wicks won't stay lit

Love the packaging but 2 out of 3 that I ordered didn't initially stay lit. Tried digging the wick out a bit with some success but has been annoying as I need to keep an eye on the candle constantly. Also wish the scent was a bit stronger as they are lovely- I find I barely notice the scent once I get one consistently lit.
